The simplest approach is to use a data logger equipped with
an indicator. Using window data capture function. The logger can display data
logged over the previous 'X' days to show flows within preset times of day when
greatest likelihood of excess flows and trends are highlighted.
Additionally a full range of Data Loggers and Outstations from simple
to exceedingly sophisticated where these have specific operational functions
such as alarm profiles to allow a typical flow pattern held in memory for a
seven day period and where a deviation within a selected percentage takes place
for that time of day ie. a leak or a burst would cause the unit to send out an
alarm.
Similarly "Step Testing" is catered for within the range of data
loggers such that all loggers involved in the test, start logging data at the
same time and similarly stop at the same time so that only data for the period
of the test is logged and therefore no other has to be gone through looking for
relevant information. |
