The D711x is a bus- based outstation, a wide range
of I/ O modules can be fitted allowing for a flexible amount of I/ O, and
ideally suited where 25 - 512 inputs (subject to type) are to be monitored,
logged and alarmed. In addition, the unit can cater for a whole range of
communications available including Bluetooth over the D7000 Series.
The D711x picks up from the compact D714x. The D7000 Series
underlying factors remain with a range of protocols available thus reducing
potential topend charges and staff training is greatly reduced as the HMI is
not only intuitive but common throughout the series. The intelligent Bus- Based
structure allow analogue and discrete I/ O modules to communicate over a
highspeed RS- 485 network supporting data transfer rates of 115K baud.
The D711x is ideal for a wide variety of large I/ O applications
including data acquisition & control, process monitoring.
Modular I/ O The intelligent input modules accept DC
voltage, current, thermocouple or RTD sensor signals all with alarm and event
capabilities. Analogue output modules provide DC voltage or current signals for
external displays, recorders, variable frequency drives, valves, and other
control equipment.
Enclosure The D711x Outstation is
assembled within wall or floor mounting cubicle and may be AC mains powered,
incorporating optional back- up batteries, or DC powered from an external
supply, such as a station battery.
Terminations The IO
interface is extended out to SAK DIN- rail mounted terminals within the base of
the enclosure ensuring clear identification of signal wiring and safety is kept
at the highest level at all times. |
