D7160ex
The D7160 ex is an IP65/IP67 low-power data logger/telemetry outstation suitable for operation in an explosive atmosphere.
Self-powered the unit uses lithium batteries that can power the unit and associated instrumentation for typically 3 years, depending on usage and temperature conditions.

The D7160 ex is designed for monitoring small I/O in explosive atmospheres when mains power is not suitable but the functionality and communication of an outstation / RTU is still required.
The D7160 ex series fits Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) monitoring perfectly and also lends itself to monitoring and controlling a wide range of applications in the utilities and industrial markets.

As a telemetry outstation, the D7160 ex unit is capable of reporting alarm conditions as they arise. Stored data can be retrieved at any time, remotely over GSM links to a Masterstation.

The D7160 ex has the ability to run a low power CSO sequence.
The D7160 ex will calculate the actual flow*, total flow volume, total overflow duration and number of overflows.

Using this data the D7160 ex will calculate and store daily totals for flow volume, overflow duration and number of overflows.

* = Flow is calculated from a level input and the correct weir/channel geometry.
